Queen B Baked began when a friend took a chance on me.
She trusted me to create a custom dessert spread for a graduation celebration, giving me an idea and the opportunity to turn it into something personal, memorable, and completely unique.
Watching that vision come together—and seeing it become part of such a special day—was when I caught the bug. That same creative collaboration is still at the heart of Queen B Baked today.

The people behind the purpose
For Rachael and Jim Blondin, Queen B is family, creativity, and community—all gathered around the same table.
Built alongside their family and a home full of rescue dogs, the bakery reflects what matters most to them: caring deeply, creating boldly, supporting small and local, and using good work to do genuine good.
That same heart is behind B Safe Dog Park, their developing vision for private, welcoming spaces where dogs and their people can feel safe, play freely, and belong. Different ideas, one shared purpose: build community and leave things better than you found them.

B Better Bread Co. was created for bakers who want more from gluten-free flour.
After countless months of testing, tweaking and baking, we set out to create clean, wheat-free gluten-free blends designed around how different baked goods actually behave, rather than asking one all-purpose blend to do everything.
Our goal is simple: give home and cottage bakers thoughtfully developed blends that make gluten-free baking easier, more consistent and, most importantly, delicious.
Because gluten-free shouldn’t mean lowering the bar. It should just mean baking differently.

Queen B Baked is about more than what comes out of the oven. We believe food can say thank you, help someone feel included, and bring local people and businesses together.
September 15, 2026 · Giving back
This morning, Queen B Baked joined Honey & Pear and HTeaO to share donated treats with local teachers—a small way to show appreciation for the people who give so much to our community every day.
Local partnership · More inclusive treats
We teamed up with The Original Rainbow Cone to create a gluten-free sugar cookie option for its ice cream sandwiches—helping more people in our community join in on a classic treat.
Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 · Nonprofit community partner
We were honored to support our nonprofit friends at the Arizona Artists Guild for two seasonal art fairs, serving as the event’s food partner with full catering for artists, guests, and families. From snacks and treats in the fall to a two-day spring menu of breakfast, lunch, and gluten-free options, we loved helping bring people together around local art and good food.
2025 · Community fundraiser
Queen B Baked was proud to participate in a fundraiser supporting Desert Hooves Pony Club and its young riders. Good treats, generous neighbors, and one especially charming pony made it a joyful day of community coming together for a local youth program.
